New HMX Mold (3rd Generation in 2026)

The HMX third-generation mold introduces a redesigned stem structure that combines the strengths of previous generations.

• Gen 1st:
  Featured a filled stem design, offering more focused and concentrated sound.
• Gen 2nd:
  Switched to a structural stem design, improving injection stability, reducing deformation, and delivering better typing feel.
• Gen 3rd (Latest):
  Combines both approaches into a semi-filled structural design, achieving a more balanced result between sound and feel.

Stem Bottom Design

The stem bottom-out surface adopts a flat grid pattern:

• Compared to a traditional flat surface, the grid contact produces a deeper, more muted sound
• Enhances the “thock” character without increasing harshness
• Maintains a clear and solid bottom-out feedback, ensuring good typing confirmation

Material Tuning

To preserve a satisfying bottom-out feel, we avoided overly soft materials.

Instead, the stem uses a custom H1 blend:

• Maintains sufficient firmness
• Adds a touch of elasticity
• Results in a balanced feel — neither too soft nor too rigid

We refined the lubrication process to better replicate hand-lubed consistency:

1. Custom Lubricant Blend

A tuned mix of DuPont 104 + 205

• Lower fluidity → prevents over-spreading
• Higher adhesion → more consistent performance
• Improved long-term stability
